Joomla! 1.0.12

 Joomla! 1.0.12 [ Sunfire ] is now available for download

The Joomla! development team have advised that all users upgrade to the latest version of 1.0.12 which includes features:

  • 140+ General Bug Fixes
  • Several low level security fixes
  • A full security audit of SQL queries
  • SSL switchover support

If you are using Joomla! 1.0.11, it is recommend that you upgrade to 1.0.12 as it addresses several long standing bugs and several low level security issues.

A new Security Announcements Forum. has also been announced will be used for security announcements for the Joomla! core and third party extensions. You are strongly encouraged to register on forum.joomla.org and subscribe to this forum to ensure that you receive notification of important security issues.

Joomla! 1.5 Beta-2 Released

The Joomla development team have announced the release of the Joomla! 1.5 Beta-2 code named 'Red Barchetta' which brings you one step closer to the long awaited release of version 1.5. The Beta release is designed for testing purposes for end users, 3rd party component and web site design developers in preperation for the migration from joomla 1.0.12

Joomla 1.5 Beta 2 has been completely rewritten from the ground up and is a great achievement for the development team to release a complete rewrite of the core code in such a short period of time.
